• Evaluate test results for errors, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all laboratory instruments are maintained and calibrated effectively.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples meticulously for testing when necessary.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, train new colleagues or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure the workspace is clean and safe, while strictly adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or related allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
