Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Laboratory Technologist/Technician - Looking for someone who wants to contribute to our culture of: Service Excellence Treating each other with Respect & Honesty Responsibility & Accountability Continuous Improvement Maintaining Confidentiality Schedule: All Shifts Available Currently Position Summary: The Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician utilizes practical and theoretical knowledge to perform laboratory procedures as outlined in the procedure manuals, ensuring the completion of assigned workload. Principle Accountabilities | Responsibilities: Provides accurate patient test results by following approved protocols and procedure to assist physicians in patient evaluation and assessment. Performs quality control assessments and routine instrument maintenance using accrediting agency standards and manufacturer specifications to assure the validity of laboratory test results. Maintains personal skill competencies, assures section in-service, and education needs are met to comply with licensing, accrediting standards, and regulations. Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and the completion of an AMA-approved Medical Laboratory training program to qualify as a Medical Laboratory Technician Or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred and completion of an AMA-approved program of Medical Technology to qualify as a Medical Technologist Experience: Knowledge of laboratory procedures as normally acquired through a minimum of six (6) months of laboratory experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required. Molecular experience preferred. Required Licensure, Registration, Certification: Current TN licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).
