Registered Nurse - PICU

$2692.80/week – Job Summary: Provide specialized pediatric critical care nursing to patients in the PICU, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. Floating to NICU, L&D, and PP as needed, with comprehensive training provided. Responsibilities: Administer compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critical pediatric patients in the PICU. Float to NICU, L&D, and postpartum units as support, maintaining clinical proficiency across multiple units. Perform complex assessments, monitor vital signs, and interpret arrhythmias to respond to patient needs promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient information accurately and ensure compliance with all safety and facility protocols. Adhere to infection control policies, including COVID-19 requirements, and maintain all necessary certifications. Qualifications: Hold a valid NJ State or Compact nursing license in good standing. Possess at least 2 years of PICU experience and recovery skills. Demonstrate proficiency in arrhythmia interpretation with a minimum score of 80% on the basic rhythm exam. Be certified in BLS and PALS. Be able to pass a basic arrhythmia exam and demonstrate competence in pediatric critical care procedures.
