Program Facilitator

Job Summary

The Program Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, practical training and coaching to multiple participant groups across the Nashville area. This role leads weekly sessions focused on independent living skills, workplace soft skills, and entrepreneurship, while creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. The facilitator adapts instruction to meet participants’ needs, provides individualized feedback and accountability, and helps participants build the confidence and skills needed to succeed in work, life, and future employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.  The Program Facilitator manages program delivery, tracks program outcomes, and supports continuous improvement through evaluations and reporting.

Teaching and Coaching:

• Facilitate engaging weekly training sessions for 2–5 participant groups across the Nashville area, covering independent living skills, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship.
• Coach participants in practical soft skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, professionalism, time management, and conflict resolution.
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the learning needs, experience levels, and goals of each group.
• Provide individualized encouragement, feedback, and accountability to help participants apply new skills in their daily lives, education, and employment.
• Track participant engagement and progress, identify areas for additional support, and communicate key updates to program leadership.
• Become an authorized facilitator of Flint Global’s curriculum

Program Administration:

• Coordinate all administrative aspects of assigned programs from launch through completion, including arranging for guest speakers and field trips.
• Maintain accurate program records, participant documentation, attendance, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor program milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in planning and execution of special events for U.S. Programs.

Evaluation and Assessment:

• Coordinate participant assessments, surveys, and program evaluations.
• Collect, organize, and maintain qualitative and quantitative data for reporting purposes.
• Monitor program outcomes and identify trends to support continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports summarizing participation, outcomes, and program performance.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal staff to ensure seamless program implementation.
• Communicate program updates, successes, and challenges to leadership and contribute recommendations for program enhancements.
• Capture and curate participant photos, stories, and testimonials for use in program communications, reporting, social media, or stakeholder engagement.
• Serve as the primary liaison for other program facilitators (paid and volunteer).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Two or more years of experience teaching and delivering curriculum or programs in education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, or community engagement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with community partners, educational institutions, or nonprofit organizations is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack is preferred; experience with Asana is a plus.
• Experience with data collection, reporting, and program evaluation is preferred.

Benefits

This is an hourly position averaging approximately 15 hours per week. Hours may vary based on program needs, with a maximum of 20 hours in any given week unless otherwise approved. This is a part-time position and does not qualify for company benefits. 

The pay range for this position is $22 – $25 per hour.
