Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Location: Bryson City, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00, with weekend rotations required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care unit. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position emphasizes teamwork in a supportive environment, providing inpatient, observation, and swing bed services.

Responsibilities:

Manage patient care with a focus on assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Administer medications and perform treatments according to established protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the care team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Med-Surg or Progressive Care setting.
Experience with PICC/CVC management and wound care is essential.
