Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Location: Bryson City, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00-07:00

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in a 17-bed progressive care unit within a critical access hospital. This role emphasizes teamwork and supports inpatient, observation, and swing bed services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage individual patient care, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
• Perform wound care and PICC/CVC management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic health records efficiently for documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Active RN license.
