What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 34-bed Level III NICU with diverse case complexity
• Conduct daily rounds and manage individualized care plans for neonates
• Collaborate with a team of 2 Neonatologists and 4 NNPs, supporting continuous coverage
• Oversee in-house patient management and neonatal transports led by NNPs
• Support approximately 1,5002,000 deliveries annually
• Implement evidence-based protocols and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Foster a multidisciplinary, collegiate work environment aimed at clinical excellence
• Support and uphold hospital policies and safety standards

What You Need

• Required: Board Certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Neonatology (Board Eligible candidates accepted temporarily)
• Preferred: Neonatal ICU experience, residency in or near Alexandria, LA
• Certifications: Valid state medical license; Neonatology Certifications (if applicable)
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment
