To that end, we include the following hospitality promises in all our job descriptions.Hospitality Promises• We greet residents, employees and guests warmly, by name and with a smile.• We treat everyone with courteous respect.• We strive to anticipate resident, employee and guest needs and act accordingly.• We listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner.• We hold ourselves and one another accountable.• We embrace and value our differences.• We make residents, employees and guests feel important.• We ask, "Is there anything else I can do for you?"• We maintain high levels of professionalism, both in conduct and appearance, at all times.• We pay attention to details.Essential FunctionsEnsures excellent customer service is provided to residents, family members, guests, and staff.Serves residents based on their Meal Ticket preferences and dietary restrictions.Partners with other neighborhood team members and volunteers by implementing engagement and mealtime opportunities.Maintains a clean bistro kitchen by sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and cleaning bistro equipment on every shift.Cleans floors and walls in the bistro.Stores all tableware and other items in the proper area.Properly disposes of trash after each meal.Assists in serving residents in the bistros.Other Job FunctionsPerforms specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director.Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with the department dress code.Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.Knowledge / Experience RequirementsMinimum completion of ninth grade or equivalent experience.Must be able to follow written and oral directions.Must be comfortable working with COVID-positive patients.Must comply with Masonic Village vaccination policies.Licenses/ CertificationsNone RequiredPhysical & Environmental Job RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
