Program Manager

We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a Program Manager within our Automotiveteam to help support our Automotivebusiness. That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Motors, Actuators and Massage Systems. The Program Manager/Automotive Division leads our cross-functional and international project teams to ensure the project targets for the assigned projects. Furthermore, the PM manages synergies and dependencies of projects and changes that belong to the same program.What will you be doing as a Program Manager:1. Lead the interdisciplinary project team, ensure good collaboration and the focus on the project targets2. Create, communicate and update project planning (milestones, deliverables, cost). Track and communicate status ofprojects (progress, risks, issues, impacts, profitability)3. Start, support and follow up escalations in case that project targets get in danger. Drive solutions and decisions toensure success of the program.4. Provide input on sales prices for design changes, provide input on IC sales prices updates5. Ensure that we follow the APQP and customer specific processes whithin our programs. Be key contact for ourcustomer during the Program.6. Manage Engineering Changes and VAVEs in collaboration with the Launch Manager.7. Leading a Safety-first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident preventionand safe working environment across the business.8. Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion bythe businessWhat you need to be successful:Educational requirements, Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other equivalentExperience:• Minimum 5 years of job experience in an industrial environment• Automotive experience preferred• 3-5 years of project experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:· Ability to work within cross-functional teams· Ability to lead by convincing· Effective problem-solving abilities· Strong target-orientation and planning skills· Strong oral and written communication skills· Able to show attention to detail whilst maintaining a view on the big picture· Optimistic and engaging approach· Strong skills in process management· Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks· Strong ability to execute on time and budgeWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
