PROGRAM MANAGER - WIRINGSOUTHFIELD, MI - WORLD HEADQUARTERSAs a member of the Program Management team, the Program Manager will be responsible for: The Role:Your work will include, but not be limited to:Program Execution - Drive the cross functional team to accomplish product launch while utilizing Lear Program Management Process and disciplinesRun regular meetings withKey Customer LiasonsSalesPurchasingLead Unit EngineeringPlant Product EngineeringPlant QualityDrive Accountability to the APQP process to assure the program launches with qualityResponsible to assure program budget requirements and financial returns meet or exceed Lear hurdle rates and corporate commitmentsRun Management Gate Reviews in LearProCreate Program Deliverable Timelines based on customer milestonesBe the face of Lear to the customerWill report to Platform Director or specific OEM Customer Lead (Platform Manager)Your Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or BusinessAt least 5 years of automotive experience and firm grasp of APQP principlesWorking knowledge of program and operational financeProven record of managing within cross functional teams and matrix style organizationsAbility to travel domestically, with occasional internationalBonus If You Have:MBAExperience with Wire HarnessesLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.Applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
