Tax And Advisory AssociateThis tax and advisory firm in Salina, KS is looking for a Tax and Advisory Associate to join its tax team. The role supports the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns while providing research and advisory services across a range of client entity types. This is a strong fit for a CPA early in their career who wants direct client exposure and mentorship from senior staff.Full time, in office in Salina, KS.$75,000 to $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.The Tax and Advisory Associate will assist in preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. This includes conducting research on tax issues and regulations to support consulting and advisory work for clients. The associate will collaborate with senior team members to identify and help implement tax saving strategies, and will take part in client meetings, communicating findings and recommendations clearly. The role also includes supporting the training and development of junior staff through mentorship and day to day guidance.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or a related fieldActive CPA licenseAt least 2 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory servicesStrong understanding of federal and state tax regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in tax software and MS OfficePreferred QualificationsExperience in public accounting or a professional services firmMaster's degree in Taxation or AccountingExperience preparing returns for multiple entity types (individual, corporate, partnership, and trust)Prior experience mentoring or training junior staff$75,000 to $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and background.
