About the Position

Job Title: Nurse Manager Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7.5H Day Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: - Minimum of 6-8 years of nursing experience - Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room experience, scrub and circulation - Minimum of 3 years of cardiac surgery and heart and lung transplant experience - Minimum of 2-5 years of solid and consistent leadership/management experience License: - Current RN license Certifications: - CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required - Master's Degree in Nursing preferred Description: Seeking a strong and experienced OR Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Surgery & Transplant Team. Must have organ transplant experience, specifically lung and heart. Experience with high acuity cases is required. Acts as a resource for experienced team members. Responsible for growing and developing team members. Engages in team building activities. Manages and has 24/7 responsibility for the nursing practice. Oversees patient care delivery, human and fiscal resources, and regulatory compliance within the unit. Maintains a professional environment that fosters high-quality patient and family-centered care. Manages team members, operations, and patient care activities during assigned shifts. Other related duties may be required.
