The organization values collaborative leadership and hands-on management at each property. Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role located in Shasta, CA. This role oversees all day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage (where applicable), ensuring a consistently high level of guest satisfaction. The General Manager manages budgets, monitors financial performance, and implements revenue and cost-control strategies to achieve property goals. Responsibilities include leading, training, and scheduling team members; maintaining brand and safety standards; addressing guest issues promptly; and collaborating with corporate leadership on strategy, reporting, and performance improvement. The role also involves local market engagement, vendor management, and continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance the guest experience and the hotel’s reputation. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality operations management, including oversight of front office, housekeeping, and maintenance teams. Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop diverse staff members. Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and implementation of revenue and cost-control initiatives. Proficiency in guest service principles, conflict resolution, and effective communication with guests, team members, and ownership. Experience with hotel management systems and basic office software; ability to use data and reports to drive decisions. Knowledge of safety, security, and compliance standards relevant to hotel operations, including local regulations. Ability to work on-site with a hands-on approach, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Previous experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or equivalent hospitality leadership role preferred.
