Accounting Supervisor

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a client located in the greater Detroit area to oversee a team responsible for financial transaction processing, including payment operations and revenue collection. The position ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various finance-related functions. Your Responsibilities Payment processing and issue resolution Vendor billing and invoice management Incoming payment applications Maintenance of financial master data and system configurations Annual reporting and documentation Coordination of internal and external audits Development and upkeep of internal collaboration platforms Tracking and reporting of performance metrics Participation in ERP system enhancements and transformation initiatives Oversight of outsourced financial service providers, including performance and risk management Facilitation of cross‑functional collaboration with departments such as credit, audit, and procurement Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field At least 4 years of experience in a shared services or centralized finance environment 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role Proficiency with ERP systems Strong understanding of accounting standards and internal controls Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team leadership skills Experience managing SharePoint sites Exposure to global financial operations Familiarity with automated cash application tools What’s in it for you?
