Assistant Swim Coach

Job Details Job Location: Providence , RI 02906 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $18.00 Hourly Position Summary The Assistant Swim Coach will support the Head Coach in developing swimmers of all skill levels, helping athletes improve their technique, build confidence, and achieve their personal and competitive goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about swimming, enjoys mentoring young athletes, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and conducting swim practices. Teach and reinforce proper stroke technique, starts, turns, and race strategies. Motivate and encourage swimmers while fostering a positive team culture. Attend swim meets and assist with competition preparation and athlete support. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and swimmer development. Ensure a safe training environment and adherence to pool policies. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and coaching staff. Why Join the Tiger Sharks? CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications preferred or willingness to obtain. Availability for evening practices, weekend meets, and team events.
