TITLE
Registered Nurse - Acute Care

SCHEDULE
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
- At least two years recent experience in field

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in providing patient care in a safe and healing environment.
- Provide learning opportunities for patients and families, including direct health information.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
