Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit at National Park Medical Center. This role involves working collaboratively with a healthcare team to deliver effective patient care in a fast-paced environment. The unit supports a variety of patients, including those with surgical needs and medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical assessments in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Required Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit or related field.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
