DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Fin Analyst, Indirect Procurement, located in Raynham, MA, but considerations will be granted to: Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Warsaw, IN, West Chester, PA, Raritan, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ and Remote (U.S. east coast) possibilities.

Job Overview

This role serves as a key finance partner to Indirect Procurement and Supply Chain leaders, providing financial insight, governance, and decision support across indirect spend categories. The Sr. Fin Analyst will help drive cost transparency, sourcing value realization, and disciplined financial planning while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across DePuy Synthes operations. This is an opportunity to influence strategic sourcing decisions, strengthen financial controls, and support a growing, standalone orthopedics organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong financial leadership and business partner support to Indirect Procurement and Supply Chain stakeholders to provide financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across indirect spend categories.

• Analyze procurement savings, productivity initiatives, and contract value realization, ensuring alignment with financial commitments.

• Support annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long‑range plan processes for indirect procurement and related supply chain functions.

• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor spend, savings, and cost drivers.

• Provide financial governance and variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to support sourcing decisions and supplier negotiations.

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and reporting standards.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by driving standardization, automation, and enhanced financial transparency.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• Preferred: MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent advanced financial training.

Experience and Skills

Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, supply chain finance, or procurement finance.

• Experience supporting indirect procurement, sourcing, or supply chain cost structures.

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.

• Result & performance driven: assumes full ownership and accountability for delivering results

• Sense of urgency: ability to identify, prioritize, and execute work/project plans

• Ability to work under time pressure while keeping a high level of quality

• Demonstrated ability to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and influence business decisions.

• Must possess excellent analytical skills and presentation skills

• Proficiency with financial systems, ERP tools, and advanced Excel or analytics platforms.

Preferred:

• Experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, life sciences).

• Familiarity with strategic sourcing, supplier contracts, and savings tracking methodologies.

• Experience supporting transformation or cost‑productivity initiatives.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

• Language: English (required).

• Travel: Up to 10%, primarily domestic.

• Certifications: CPA, CMA, or similar financial certification preferred but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - 142,000.00 USD Annual

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Pay transparency Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
