We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Surgical Scheduler to coordinate procedures and support our surgeons, patients, and clinical teams.ScheduleMonday - Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PMFriday: 7:45 AM - 3:30 PMNo evenings, weekends, or holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesSchedule surgical procedures, pre-operative testing, and related appointmentsCoordinate with surgeons, hospitals, surgery centers, insurance companies, and patientsObtain authorizations and ensure all required documentation is completeCommunicate surgical instructions and preparation information to patientsMaintain accurate scheduling records and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTravel occasionally between satellite offices throughout Lancaster and York CountiesWhat Makes a Successful Surgical SchedulerExceptional organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyOutstanding customer service and communication abilitiesAbility to multitask and adapt to changing prioritiesProfessionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitudeExperience with medical scheduling, insurance authorizations, and electronic medical recordsKnowledge of surgical workflows and terminologyWhy Join Us?
