Attends required safety training programs and adheres to job-related safety responsibilities. Promotes effective working relations and collaborates with team members to meet departmental goals. Supervises staff by assigning work, training, evaluating performance, and recommending disciplinary actions or terminations as appropriate. Creates and reviews schedules, approving scheduling requests to ensure adequate staffing. Documents all work performed, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Surveys departmental procedures regularly to ensure adherence to acceptable cleaning practices. Resolves patient satisfaction concerns promptly. Manages the distribution and accountability of clean linen supplies. Reviews and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Coordinates and supervises the maintenance of areas to high standards. Provides supplies to designated areas as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
