Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13 Weeks | Projected Start: September 14, 2026 | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and assist with emergency procedures including intubation and central line placement
• Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Participate in triage and emergency response activities as needed
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• Demonstrated emergency response skills and direct patient care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to a fast-paced emergency environment
