Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13 Weeks | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubation and central line placement
• Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Participate in rotating weekend assignments as required
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, triage RNs, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
• Demonstrated patient experience and emergency response skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
• Team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to a fast-paced emergency environment
