JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Family Medicine

• Job Type: Locum Tenens

• Location: Saint Stephen, SC

• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic

• Coverage Type: Clinical Only

• Coverage Period: 06/22/2026 – Ongoing

- Until permanent provider is hired

• Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts with 1-hour unpaid lunch

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: Ages 12 and older; primarily geriatric population

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 20 patients per day

• Admissions: No

• Rounding: Not Included

• Phone Consults: No

• Case Mix: Family Medicine / Primary Care

FACILITY INFORMATION

• EMR System: eClinicalWorks (eCW)

• Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic equipment

• Specialty Backup Available: TBD

• Support Staff Available: One (1) Certified Medical Assistant

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 days

• Additional Compliance Requirements: Clear background and no malpractice history required for temporary privileges

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Preventive care and wellness visits

• Chronic disease management

• Routine outpatient primary care procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Active South Carolina Medical License required

• Board Certification not required

• Active DEA preferred

• Outpatient Primary Care / Family Medicine experience preferred

• Fellowship required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients ages 12 and older

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

• Document patient encounters accurately within eClinicalWorks EMR

• Work independently as the sole physician in the clinic

• Collaborate with clinic support staff to ensure continuity of patient care
