Account Supervisor

: The Account Supervisor will focus on delivering key client objectives and will work as part of a larger client team in our Chicago office. Ideal candidates must demonstrate strong working knowledge in account management with experience in multicultural advertising. What you will do

• Supervise the planning and execution of advertising activities for clients.
• Supervises the development of the advertising program in accordance with clients' objectives and budget limitations.
• Consults with the media and creative departments in the development of the agency's recommendation for the advertising mix to be used and the creative approach to be taken.
• Consults with creative, media, and research staff to be certain client objectives are clearly understood and then to develop strategic solutions.
• Maintains contact with appropriate client personnel to ensure continuing agency awareness of clients' desires, interests, and understanding of agency work.
• Plan effectively to avoid crisis situations, but if they develop, report and discuss them with your management supervisor immediately.
• Responsible for the accuracy and clarity of any written document, including conference reports and marketing plans, before submission to the client.
• Ensure orders and work instructions to Traffic, Creative, Media, etc. are sufficiently detailed and clear.
• Take a leadership role within the agency as a member of the middle management staff.

Your experience

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5+ years of advertising agency experience with segment experience targeting multicultural consumers
• Fosters effective teamwork and strong relationships.
• Highly skilled in presenting to senior level clients and management.
• Strong time-management skills, project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
