Supplier Relationship Manager

Becton Dickinson & Co

Waters Corporation seeks a Supplier Relationship Manager to develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers, manage supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks. The role partners with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, support new product introductions, and ensure supply continuity in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Execute commodity sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and cost competitiveness
Manage key supplier relationships, conduct business reviews, and drive performance improvements
Monitor supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans for sole-source and constrained materials
Support new product introductions through supplier selection, qualification, and cross-functional collaboration
Deliver annual cost savings, productivity improvements, and develop total cost of ownership analyses

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or supply chain experience
Contract negotiation and supplier relationship management experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
Manufacturing operations and supply chain support experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross-functional teams
