Nursing Support Resource Center

The Resource Center is made up of Nurses, Nurse Technicians, Behavioral Health Techs, and Unit Secretaries. Team members in this department support the unit of greatest need each day at both Butterworth and Blodgett Hospital. As a part of the Resource Center, team members care for various patient populations and have the experience of supporting a different unit each day. The patients, families, and team members all greatly value and appreciate the help and expertise that the Resource Center team provides daily.

Set within a quiet, beautifully maintained property of mature trees and healing gardens, Blodgett Hospital has earned a reputation for excellence as a community and teaching hospital since 1846. We provide patient-focused inpatient care in 248 private patient rooms and outpatient services for medical, surgical, and specialty care, achieving high rates of patient satisfaction.

Under supervision of a Nurse and following hospital policies and procedures, performs various nursing care tasks and treatments on assigned patients. Performs routine bedside nursing activities including bathing and personal grooming of patients, vital signs, wound care, ambulating, assisting patients with bedpans or urinary devices.

Required High School Diploma or equivalent

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
