# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Care Unit RN – Kansas**Start Date:** December 14, 2026 **Location:** Overland Park, Kansas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 48 hours per week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, at least every third weekend**Highlights:**- Join a 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit specializing in acute cardiac patients including catheterization lab post-procedures, ablations, PFO closures, stents, pacemakers, and stroke patients- Manageable patient ratios of 4-5:1 with dedicated tech support and unencumbered charge nurse assistance- Work with state-of-the-art equipment including EKG, bladder scanners, mobility assistance devices, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis systems- Meditech Electronic Behavioral Care Documentation (EBCD) system- Float to similar units as needed (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab)- Award-winning facility with multiple certifications including Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, Colorectal Center of Excellence, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Orthopedic Certified**Requirements:**- Current RN license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)- ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required- Cardiac care experience strongly preferred- Strong commitment to patient safety, quality documentation, and infection prevention protocols- Team-oriented mindset with dedication to patient-centered care- Professional appearance: royal blue scrub tops with royal blue or black pants**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work with a highly engaged, team-oriented staff supported by dedicated clinical educators and leadership.
