About the Position

Schedule: 48 hours per week guaranteed; rotating every 3rd weekend; day or night shift available

Highlights:

• 32-bed Orthopedic, Neurology, and General Surgery unit with fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Patient ratios: 1:4 total patient care, typically 1:5 with PCT support
• Meditech EMR system
• Exposure to total joint replacements, complex spine and neuro surgery cases, and general surgical patients
• Floating to medical-telemetry and surgical specialty floors as needed
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with long-term placement opportunity

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred
• Basic Dysrhythmia class preferred
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills for a fast-paced surgical environment
