Maintenance Supervisor – Portland, ME Pay: $28.00–$30.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday Lead. Repair. Mentor. Make an Impact. Wingate Management Company is seeking a hands-on MaintenanceSupervisor to oversee the daily maintenance operations of a 164-unitresidential community consisting of 17 scattered-site buildings in Portland,ME. This is a working supervisor position, ideal for someone who enjoys leadinga team while remaining actively involved in repairs, preventative maintenance,and resident service. What You'll Do Leadthe daily maintenance operations by supervising and delegating work,coordinating apartment turnovers, completing preventative maintenance,responding to service requests, and mentoring the maintenance team whilemaintaining a safe, efficient operation. Performhands-on maintenance including HVAC troubleshooting (boilers and heatingsystems), plumbing repairs such as sinks, tubs, drains, and fixtures,along with basic electrical, drywall, painting, and general apartmentmaintenance. Manageadministrative responsibilities including work orders, maintenancescheduling, inventory, vendor coordination, contractor agreements, servicedocumentation, and ensuring OSHA and company standards are followed. What We're Looking For Residentialapartment maintenance experience is required, with previous supervisory orteam lead experience preferred. Candidates should have strong leadership,delegation, communication, organization, and time management skills withthe ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. StrongHVAC knowledge is required, particularly with boilers and heating systems.Experience with general plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, apartmentturnovers, and preventative maintenance is essential.
