POSITION OVERVIEW:

The center manager is integral to the success of Full Circle RCC (Polk County), providing leadership in the development of the recovery community center, as well as general oversight and management of the facility. This position oversees the implementation of programming and services that are based on best practices for supporting multiple pathways of recovery for underserved and hard-to-reach populations. Programming will be culturally responsive, trauma informed, and based on the needs identified by those in recovery at whatever stage they may be. This position involves supervision of staff. This is an exempt position and is based on a 40-hour work week. The center manager may also work occasional evenings and weekends for community events and meetings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Manage the Operations of the RCC
• Work with director of programs to ensure general utilities, technology, and property management are maintained; collaborate with contractors to address needs (e.g., internet, pest control, printing, safety, emergency protocol).
• Ensure facility policies and procedures are followed by staff, recoverees, volunteers, and guests.
• Promote and maintain a positive, collaborative workplace culture within the RCC that reflects Full Circle Recovery's Core Values and Ethical Commitments.
• Secure and maintain furnishings as needed, and keep supplies stocked and available.
• Work closely with staff to address and resolve policy violations or problem behavior.
• Ensure the RCC is open and has adequate coverage for 40 hours per week, five days per week, and a minimum of two evenings per week.
• Assures all work performed is done in accordance with OSHA safety standards and those established by Full Circle Recovery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Coordinate Activities at the RCC
• Coordinate with staff to design and maintain the RCC's programming and core services.
• Oversee all the recovery groups, meetings, and activities.
• Oversee and promote all individual services offered by the RCC (e.g., resource connections, recovery coaching, Telephone Recovery Support (TRS)).
• Ensure a wide variety of pathways represented in activities and a balance of peer recovery support meetings, educational opportunities, social activities, and events.
• Ensure adequate planning, leadership, and resources are in place for new and ongoing activities.
• Coordinate with external groups/individuals who wish to use the RCC space.
• Create and manage monthly calendar of events.
• Organize and manage the Community Planning Committee that provides input on center activities, groups, and meetings.
• Facilitate staff meetings that promote team-building, collaboration, and effective communication.
• Bring new ideas, opportunities, and challenges to the group for a collaborative process of discussion and decision-making.
• Monitor success and progress of groups, meetings, and activities and intervene to address challenges and promote growth.
• Provide support and oversight of the volunteer management program.
• Monitor volunteer engagement, satisfaction, conflict, and potential issues.
• Ensure volunteer processes, procedures, and policies are implemented consistently.

Conduct Outreach to Grow the RCC
• Establish collaborative relationships with strategic community partners:
• Schedule meetings to discuss collaboration and introduce our services.
• Schedule presentations to staff/stakeholders at partner agencies.
• Schedule presentations to recoverees/individuals served by partner agencies.
• Partner to host activities with partner agencies (e.g., recovery meetings, special events, recovery coaching).
• Advertise monthly activities:
• Provide information for monthly printed calendar.
• Update Google calendar linked to the website.
• Coordinate creation and distribution of flyers/calendars/materials in strategic public locations.

Manage Data and Reporting

• Monitor program data for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness and address identified errors or gaps.
• Review volunteer-entered data regularly to correct errors and inconsistencies:

o TRS

o Recovery coaching

o Phone/email logs

o Sign-in sheets

o Intake forms

o Grant-related data and forms
• Collaborate with staff to ensure sign-in sheet data and group attendance are entered in a timely manner.
• Work alongside leadership to complete other reports throughout the year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Personal experience with substanceusedisorder, mental health conditions, recovery, and/or justice system involvement.
• Knowledgeoforpersonal experience with recovery systems, medication-assisted treatment, multiple pathways of recovery, harm reduction, criminal justice systems, person-centered approaches, and peer recovery support services.
• Must agree to complete the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy and Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches within six months of hire.
• Experience with program development,leadership, managing staff,partnership building, and site management.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, support, and hold staff accountable to organizational expectations.
• Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Effective communication and interpersonalskills;capable of interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and partnerships simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom), and data management.
• Valid driver's license,good drivingrecord, car insurance, and reliable transportation.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

The work is performed in a typical office or administrative environment as well as at partner organizations in the community.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Driving, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, lifting, reaching, talking, hearing, grasping and finger dexterity, repetitive motions.
• Sitting approximately 50 percent of the time.
• Standing approximately 20 percent of the time.
• Walking approximately 20 percent of the time.
• Driving approximately 10 percent of the time.
• Requires the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force continuously.
• Up to 50 pounds of force infrequently to lift or otherwise move objects.

VISION REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminal, and extensive reading.
