Mint Workforce is placing a Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) with Occupational Health experience for a contract assignment in Hagerstown, MD. This has potential to convert to a permanent position.

Position Snapshot

• Position: Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Health
• Location: Hagerstown, MD
• Pay Rate: $70 to $85/hour
• Position Type: Contract, with potential to convert to permanent
• Start Date: August 3,2026
• End Date: November 13,2026
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 30-minute unpaid meal break
• Occupational Health experience preferred, DOT certification a plus

What You'll Do

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient health records and documentation
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices

What You'll Bring

• Active state RN license/certificate
• Active Nurse Practitioner license/certificate
• State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license matching each state of practice
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in Maryland
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master's Degree in Nursing (if the degree title doesn't specify Nursing, transcripts required)
• Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or equivalent); ACLS may also be required depending on contract scope
• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department settings
