Part-Time Maize Genetics Lab and Greenhouse Research Assistant- Chopra

Job Description and Position Requirements Chopra Lab is looking for part-time research support assistants. Responsibilities Prepare seeds for greenhouse and field planting. Assist in planting, crop management in greenhouse and field grown plants, and follow agronomic practices. Collect various plant data from seed germination to maturity. Collect and bring samples to the lab for PCR‑based genotyping, DNA, RNA, and protein isolation. Perform crosses/pollinations and selfing of selected plants. Harvest and send samples for analysis. Perform seed collection, drying, storage, and processing.
