Formed initially as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities, beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy Creek community. BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community.At the heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various fun activities, educational and fitness classes.Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team members.Security Guard:Protect. Live The Brushy Creek Life.Brushy Creek is looking for a dedicated Security Guard to help keep our parks, trails, pools, facilities, and events safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.At Brushy Creek, our Security Guards are the friendly faces, trusted resources, and first responders who help create the exceptional experience known as The Brushy Creek Life. Through proactive patrols, incident response, visitor assistance, and community engagement, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the safety and enjoyment of our residents and guests.This is more than a security position. Patrol parks, trails, pools, and facilities on foot.Play a key role in keeping parks, facilities, pools, and public spaces safe, by enforcing District policies and facility rules professionally and fairly.Build positive relationships with residents, visitors, and local emergency responders.Support exciting community events, leagues, tournaments, and festivals.Be part of a team committed to service, safety, and community pride.Minimum Requirements:Maintain current certification and license:Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer CertificationA valid Texas driver's license (or obtain one within a satisfactory time frame after hire in the case of out-of-state applicants)American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AEDMust be able to work flexible work schedules and irregular hours, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.Minimum one-year experience as a non-commissioned security officer with a government organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to create and maintain accurate incident reports, records, audits and SOPs.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
