Finance Specialist

Hiring: Finance & Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) – AI Research Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week) Duration: 6 Months Commitment: 35 Hours/Week We are seeking a highly experienced Finance & Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support cutting-edge AI research initiatives. In this role, you will work alongside research and engineering teams to provide deep domain expertise, validate AI-generated financial outputs, and contribute to the development of next-generation AI models. Key Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise in finance, accounting, corporate finance, financial reporting, and related disciplines. Review, evaluate, and validate AI-generated financial analyses, reports, and research outputs. Interpret financial statements, accounting standards, and regulatory guidance. Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineering teams to improve model performance. Deliver domain-specific insights and recommendations to support AI model development. Document findings, assumptions, and best practices. Stay current with GAAP, IFRS, financial regulations, and industry trends. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred. 10+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting. Strong expertise in GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, corporate finance, and financial analysis. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience reviewing and synthesizing complex financial information. Ability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA, two days per week. Preferred Experience working with AI or machine learning projects is a plus, but not required . Prior experience as a consultant or subject matter expert is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
