Nurse Practitioner, Cardio Heart Success/Failure - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Responsible for working alongside physicians and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services. Provides general and preventative care for children and adults, perform check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests, and prescribe medication. Principal Accountabilities Provides new patient consultation and reviews health history. Performs physical examinations and screening on the patients. Provides after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families. Ensures patient records are maintained including test results, immunizations, condition changes. Delivers quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics. Recommends further treatment options or future appointments if required.
