Position Summary The Site Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily logistics activities that support field operations on assigned projects. This role ensures materials, tools, equipment, vehicles, consumables, and workforce support are available when and where they are needed. The Site Logistics Coordinator serves as the primary logistics representative on-site, partnering closely with Operations and Field Leadership to minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and maintain accountability for company assets. Primary Responsibilities 1. Daily Site Logistics Support Coordinate daily logistics activities for assigned projects. Responsibilities include: • Support daily field operations • Coordinate material deliveries • Track inventory usage • Issue tools and equipment • Monitor consumable supplies • Assist with mobilization and demobilization • Support production needs throughout the shift Ensure field crews have the resources required to maintain uninterrupted production. 2. Material Coordination Manage project materials from receipt through installation. Responsibilities include: • Receive deliveries • Verify shipment accuracy • Inspect materials for damage • Organize staging areas • Track inventory levels • Coordinate replenishment requests • Return excess materials • Document material discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory records throughout the project lifecycle. 3. Tool & Equipment Management Maintain accountability for company tools and equipment. Responsibilities include: • Issue tools • Track equipment assignments • Monitor calibration dates • Coordinate repairs • Manage replacement requests • Conduct routine inspections • Maintain equipment inventory • Report damaged or missing assets Ensure that equipment is operational and available when needed. 4. Warehouse & Laydown Management Maintain organized storage and staging areas. Responsibilities include: • Organize laydown yards • Maintain warehouse cleanliness • Label inventory locations • Secure valuable equipment • Control material movement • Support inventory counts • Improve storage efficiency Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient logistics environment. 5. Fleet & Vehicle Support Assist in managing project fleet resources. Responsibilities include: • Coordinate vehicle assignments • Monitor fuel card distribution • Track vehicle usage • Schedule maintenance • Report vehicle issues • Maintain vehicle accountability Support uninterrupted field transportation. 6. Workforce Support Provide logistical support for field personnel. Responsibilities include: • Coordinate hotel check-ins • Assist with travel logistics • Support onboarding logistics • Prepare PPE packages • Coordinate badging requirements • Assist with deployment planning 7. Vendor Coordination Serve as the primary site contact for deliveries. Responsibilities include: • Schedule deliveries • Coordinate unloading • Verify purchase orders • Resolve shipment issues • Communicate delivery status • Support vendor relationships 8. Inventory Control Maintain accurate inventory records. Track: • Fiber cable • Cabinets • Patch panels • Consumables • Hardware • Safety supplies • Testing equipment • Installation tools • Rental equipment Report inventory shortages before they impact production. 9. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate logistics documentation. Responsible for: • Daily inventory reports • Delivery logs • Equipment check-out logs • Material receipts • Vehicle tracking • Consumable usage • Rental tracking • Asset inventories Provide timely updates to the Logistics Manager. 10. Operational Communication Coordinate closely with: • Logistics Manager • Construction Managers • Field Operations Manager • General Foremen • Foremen • Warehouse Manager • Vendors • Procurement Communicate logistics issues proactively to minimize operational impacts. 11. Safety & Compliance Maintain safe logistics operations. Responsibilities include: • Safe material handling • Equipment inspections • Housekeeping • Hazard reporting • PPE compliance • Storage compliance • Vehicle safety Support NTI's commitment to a zero-incident safety culture. 12. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency.
