What You'll Do
- Prepare export (ocean/air) and shipping documentation, including bills of lading, dock receipts, export declarations, and related paperwork.
- Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure timely pickup, movement, and delivery.
- Track and trace freight, providing updates to customers and internal teams.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, routing, dispatching, and rate quotes.
- Work closely with carriers, vendors, and suppliers to coordinate logistics activities and resolve issues.
- Partner with accounting to ensure accurate billing and shipment documentation.
- Collaborate with internal branches and agents to provide exceptional customer service and seamless shipment execution.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with established shipping procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Air and Ocean Export, logistics, freight forwarding and transportation.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business systems.
