QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of recent and relevant nonprofit and government entities' external financial audit experience
• 2+ years leading engagements in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations and GAGAS
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively

Preferred qualifications include experience with QuickBooks, AuditFile, or similar software; advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and a Master's Degree in Accounting or certifications such as CPA, CGFM, or CFE, which may substitute for one year of experience.

PAY :

• $35-$40 per hour

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXPERIENCED STAFF AUDITOR

This is a full-time auditing position based in Hyattsville, MD, with opportunities for remote work and travel to client locations as required to lead onsite audit engagements.

As our Experienced Staff Auditor, you'll oversee projects from planning to completion, acting as a trusted resource for clients and team members. Your responsibilities will include mentoring staff auditors, providing feedback, identifying process improvements, and leading onsite audits for nonprofit and government organizations. You'll leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to manage priorities and deliver quality results while pursuing ongoing professional development.
