Department Quality Care Rehab Location Wesley Place on Honeysuckle Salary & Schedule LPN wage: $23.50 - $24.50 per hour 3-11 and 11-7 shift differential: $2.00 per hour Perfect Punch: $2.00 per hour Estimated total: $28.50 per hour Key Responsibilities The LPN position supervises day‑to‑day nursing activities, including medication administration, ensuring quality care, and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. Duties include: Directing day‑to‑day nursing functions and managing nursing staff. Developing, maintaining, and updating nursing policies, procedures, and manuals. Completing and maintaining medical forms, reports, evaluations, charts, and discharge plans. Ensuring nursing personnel provide proper resident care and adhere to policies. Participating in quality assurance programs and facility inspections. Interpreting department policies for personnel, residents, families, and government agencies. Preparing and administering medications, verifying narcotic records, and ensuring proper disposal. Ordering and maintaining adequate medication and equipment supplies. Implementing corrective actions and monitoring resident health status. Conducting rounds with physicians and maintaining accurate records. Assisting with resident transportation and informing families about death. Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating staffing personnel. Developing and evaluating staffing requirements and performance. Ensuring resident confidentiality, dignity, rights, and privacy. Participating in creating comprehensive care plans and monitoring adherence. Managing inventory of equipment and supplies. Monitoring safety, infection control, and sanitary standards. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Ability to read and write in English. Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff. Calm under stress and disciplined. Ability to lift and transfer residents weighing 100–250 pounds. Knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, and quality assurance practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
