Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - PCU for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role involves working in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), focusing on providing exceptional care for post-surgery and oncology patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide patient care in a 26-bed PCU, handling surgical, trauma, and oncology cases
• Maintain RN to patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Administer medications and manage treatments, including blood admin, traction, and wound care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CNAs, physicians, and intensivists
• Utilize EMR systems like Cerner for patient documentation
• Participate in shift handovers and team huddles to ensure continuity of care

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Valid BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in STAC, 3 years preferred
• Proficiency in skills such as skeletal traction, wound care, and PCA pain management
