Material Handler (Non-CDL Delivery Driver)

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Omaha team. In this role, you will be responsible for order fulfillment, preparing shipments, loading trucks, and supporting deliveries as a non-CDL driver. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in our daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for daily deliveries
• Stage and organize orders based on truck routes
• Verify pallet accuracy and ensure shipment quality
• Safely load trucks for local and special deliveries
• Operate warehouse equipment, including sit-down forklifts
• Perform non-CDL delivery driving as needed
• Assist drivers and customers with loading materials
• Identify and report damaged products
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of material handling experience (picking, packing, loading, unloading)
• 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and order picking equipment
• 1+ year of delivery driving experience
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CDL Medical Card (or ability to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of La Vista, NE.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
