Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Truckee, CA, responsible for leading all aspects of daily store operations. This role includes supervising and coaching the store team, setting schedules, and ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded. The Store Manager will oversee merchandising, inventory management, opening and closing procedures, and adherence to company policies and visual standards. Responsibilities also include monitoring sales performance, implementing initiatives to achieve revenue targets, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment. The Store Manager will collaborate with regional and corporate partners to support training, staffing, and local marketing efforts while modeling Overland’s brand values and service culture. Qualifications Strong customer-focused mindset, with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to create a welcoming, high-quality shopping experience. Demonstrated Store Management experience, including leading teams, scheduling, coaching, and driving sales performance in a retail environment. Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and cross-functional partners. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including shrink control, cash handling accuracy, and adherence to safety and security procedures. Previous supervisory or management experience in retail or a related customer-facing industry. Proven ability to analyze sales data, set goals, and execute action plans to meet or exceed targets. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical retail physical tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
