Quality Technician

Quality isn't a department—it's a mindset. We're seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team on 1st Shift . This hands‑on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in inspecting machined parts, working with tight tolerances, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards. Schedule Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM What You'll Do Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections Conduct visual, dimensional, and process inspections Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, borescopes, and optical comparators Review blueprints, specifications, and job travelers Identify and document nonconforming products and issue NCRs Record inspection results in manufacturing software systems Generate Certificates of Conformance Maintain calibration records and apply calibration labels to gauges Communicate quality concerns and support corrective actions Support Nondestructive Testing (NDT) activities when required What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED 6–9 years of quality inspection experience in a machining/manufacturing environment Experience inspecting turned, milled, and drilled components Strong understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and measuring tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop documentation Experience with inspection documentation and electronic recordkeeping ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferred What You'll Gain Competitive pay: $21–$25 per hour Stable first‑shift schedule with an early finish on Fridays Opportunity to work with precision‑machined components Career growth and continuous improvement opportunities Collaborative team environment focused on quality and excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
