Job Description
The Hudson Valley HCS VA anesthesiologist is responsible for direct provision of perioperative anesthetic care. The physician should be proficient and privileged in all aspects of anesthesiology. The anesthesiologist will provide perioperative care, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic, administration and monitoring of post-anesthesia care in compliance with national accreditation standards. The anesthesiologist will provide expert consultation and guidance to CRNA, nursing, and other medical staff in the administration of anesthesia. Fellowship trained anesthesiologists are expected to practice in their anesthesia subspecialty.VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
