Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes

the client seeks an enthusiastic, visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. This role will help guide the division during a period of growth, with a focus on strengthening the division’s presence in clinical practice, teaching, and research. The chief will have the opportunity to build and expand pediatric endocrinology and diabetes services, broadening the division’s reach, impact, and reputation. The Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Division provides coordinated, comprehensive care in close collaboration with primary care providers and other specialties, supporting patients and families with a holistic approach. The division offers comprehensive programs for pediatric diabetes, along with multidisciplinary care for type 1 and type 2 diabetes and services that support adolescent transgender care. It also partners with relevant GI and nutrition specialists to support weight management, including bariatric surgery-related services. The chief will lead efforts to expand patient care, teaching, and clinical research initiatives related to endocrinology, diabetes, and weight management within the department. The successful candidate will articulate an inspiring vision and provide strong leadership, clinical expertise, and faculty, staff, and trainee development. This role requires deep experience in fostering a positive, inclusive culture that prioritizes wellness, embraces diversity, and promotes collegiality.
