Assist with design and development of mechanical components and systems Support creation of 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation Analyze test results and assist with design improvements and optimizations Support engineering efforts to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production and product implementation Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation Support documentation of engineering processes, reports, and project updates Assist with additional engineering and cross-functional projects as assigned Support additional technical service and operations projects as assigned WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic understanding of engineering principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE? Preferred Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) Interest in product design, HVAC systems, or manufacturing environments Experience with prototyping, testing, or hands-on engineering projects What We Offer Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $20 – $38/hour . This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
