Personal Lines Account Manager

We are seeking a Licensed Personal Lines Account Manager who genuinely enjoys servicing existing clients and takes pride in keeping a book of business running smoothly. This position is ideal for those newer to insurance (2-4 years experience), and already licensed (please include your California property-casualty insurance (preferred), or personal lines license number when applying). Please do not apply if you are not licensed in California with one of the two licenses listed. This role is intentionally designed as a service-focused Account Manager position. Approximately 90% of the work involves servicing existing clients and managing renewals. There will be opportunities for inbound referrals and occasional cross-selling, but this is not a producer or sales-heavy role. If your long-term goal is outside sales or becoming a producer, this position is not the best fit. Please do not apply if you are looking for a sales only, or sales heavy position. Enjoys completing tasks and closing loops Can prioritize a busy workload and remain calm under pressure Likes checking items off a to-do list Enjoys account management and customer service Is dependable, steady, and organized Can work independently with minimal supervision Responsibilities Service an existing Personal Lines book of business Review policies and endorsements for accuracy Handle renewal processing from start to finish Look for opportunities to upsell/cross-sell Support sales agents/new business opportunities when needed General clerical duties, and administrative tasks, as needed Preferred Skills and Qualifications Enthusiastic about the role insurance plays in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams Self-motivated and efficient Attention to detail is critical Work independently and be resourceful Fast and efficient, while maintaining exceptional accuracy You are a service oriented person, looking to stay in a service oriented role Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task Strong customer service mindset and background Minimum of 1-2 years insurance industry work experience You’ll work alongside an experienced support team that assists with administrative and processing functions so you can focus on licensed account management and client service. There may be opportunities over time to expand your insurance knowledge into Commercial Lines, but the primary focus of this position will remain Personal Lines service.
