Job Summary Assist the Administrator with overseeing daily activities in the home while providing high‑quality care to clients. Help establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures. Consult with management, organization officials, and staff members as necessary to ensure the health, safety, and overall well‑being of clients. Job Functions Collaborate with the Administrator to develop daily operations of the house(s). Manage performance of direct reports, including coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance management; recruit and make hiring decisions for vacancies. Help establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, in collaboration with management, organization officials, and staff members. Maintain client and facility files as specified in California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17. Maintain ongoing resident ID notes, review staff ID notes daily, and prepare and submit quarterly progress reports in accordance with CCR Title 17, Chapter 3, Subchapter 4, §56026. Meet with identified agencies and service providers, including representatives from Regional Center, Community Care Licensing, and day programs, as needed. Determine staff requirements, interview, hire, and train new employees. Participate in Individual Program Plan, Transition, and Interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate openly with family members. Obtain medical and dental evaluations, emergency care, and follow physicians' orders for consumers. Manage all financial costs associated with home(s), including program supplies, utilities, labor, etc. Recruit, train, and manage staff while preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Requirements Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certification (ARF). Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT). DSP I and DSP II certificates. CPR/FA and CPI certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Education / Experience High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience supporting clients with developmental disabilities of Level 4I or higher home, providing special services to individuals with a high level of behaviors.
