Bicycle Mechanic

We're seeking a skilled Bike Builder to join our team. If you're passionate about cycling and have a knack for bicycle mechanics, we'd love to hear from you! This role offers the opportunity to assemble and prepare bikes for sale, working closely with a team committed to delivering exceptional sales and service experiences. We're open to candidates of all ages and experience levels. We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and a problem solver. What You'll Do Applying shop standards to the assembly of bikes. Meeting or exceeding shop production standards. Assembling new bicycles and preparing them for sale. Installing, repairing, and replacing equipment or accessories. Aligning wheels, installing new tires and tubes, and cleaning and lubricating bicycle parts. Ordering bicycle parts and building wheels by cutting and threading new spokes. Installing vehicle parts or accessories and adjusting vehicle components according to specifications. Performing other duties as needed or assigned. Requirements Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees. Previous bike assembly experience or equivalent preferred. Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service. Strong attention to detail. Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds. Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends. Interest in developing own skills and knowledge.
