Neuro-Hospitalist

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Neurohospitalist to expand its growing services at the two hospital campuses in Macon, Georgia. Preferred candidate will have training in Vascular Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, or experience in General Neurology. The physicians will join an established Neurohospitalist consultation service working a 7 on / 7 off schedule with full support from the admitting hospitalist group. Piedmont Macon Main and Piedmont Macon North have DNV Primary Stroke Designation and GWTG Silve Plus status.
Across our 2,171 physical locations, we care for more than 4.5 million patients and serve communities that comprise 85% of Georgia's population. This includes 27 hospitals, 113 immediate care locations, 1,875 Piedmont Clinic physician practices and nearly 3,600 Piedmont Clinic members. Our patients conveniently engage with Piedmont online, as they scheduled more than 560,000 online appointments and over 120,000 virtual visits. Piedmont Macon Medical Center - - 310-bed hospital - Primary Stroke Center - Located in Macon, Georgia (90 minutes from Atlanta and 2.5 hours from Savannah) - 28-bed ICU - Tele-stroke services in place Piedmont Macon North Hospital - - 103-bed hospital - Primary Stroke Center - Located in Macon, Georgia (90 minutes from Atlanta, and 2.5 hours from Savannah) - Tele-stroke services in place. Opportunity Details - - 7 on / 7 off scheduling - Consultative service only - Hospital uses telemedicine support for all stroke alerts - Compensation includes: Base salary Signing bonus RVU productivity incentive Stipend Educational Loan assistance - J-1 & H1-B visa support About Macon, Georgia - Macon is a city in central Georgia with a medical draw area of 600,000 + and a population of 158,000. It's about 90 minutes from Atlanta and 2.5 hours from Savannah. The city boasts a rich history, stunning architecture and southern charm.
