Availability is needed Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

The Treasury Management & Payment Solutions (TMPS) Operations Specialist 1 is responsible for lockbox processing within the division, which includes traditional business Treasury Management, International, Merchant Acquiring, and Card Payment solutions. This role requires strict confidentiality when handling customer documents such as checks and remittances. Key duties involve opening, sorting, scanning, and extracting these documents, verifying check negotiability, and performing accurate data entry and quality control for Lockbox services. They also conduct scheduled tasks including reconciliation, cash deposits, shredding, and equipment maintenance. The TMPS Operations Specialist 1 contributes to continuous improvement by recommending policy and procedure enhancements and consistently provides exceptional internal and external customer service.

What You'll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Lockbox Processing: Accurately process customer documents received via mail or courier using high-speed imaging equipment. This includes opening, sorting, scanning, and extracting checks and remittances, all while maintaining strict confidentiality. Verify check negotiability according to customer-specific instructions. Perform precise data entry and quality control reviews for Lockbox services.
• Scheduled Duties: Perform reconciliation, cash deposits, shredding, and equipment maintenance and other operational duties according to schedule. Coordinate with TMPS Manager of Operations to understand and complete any other assigned projects or duties. Make timely decisions on routine duties and escalate as needed.
• Policy and Procedure Adherence: Proactively identify and make recommendations for continuous improvement focused on enhancing quality, productivity and reducing cost. Process, outgoing wire transfer requests with an established approval limit, ensuring proper approval and documentation are obtained prior to submission.
• Exceptional Service Delivery: Consistently deliver exceptional, professional, friendly, efficient, and helpful customer service, both internally and externally. Meet and exceed established metrics for attendance, processing volume and quality, and service quality.
• Violation Reporting: Identify and report all errors in processing to ensure feedback is provided and notifications are made as required by privacy policy, banking laws, or regulations.
• Suspicious Activity Reporting: Follow chain of commands and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity to the TMPS Manager of Operations for action.
• Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes, but is not limited to, complete compliance training and adherence to internal procedures and controls; reporting any known violations of compliance policies, laws, or regulations; and reporting any suspicious customer, client, and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Preferred:

• Arvest experience or other banking experience.
• Knowledge of treasury management, merchant acquiring, card payments, or business banking.
• Associates degree.
• 1 year of operations, processing, production, or banking experience with focus on meeting daily deadlines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software tools.
